What to include
To help us respond well, it helps if you mention:
- Which page you were on (paste the URL if you can).
- What you entered — the appliances, wattages, or settings — if you are reporting a calculation that looks off.
- What you expected versus what the tool showed.
Corrections welcome
Every wattage, surge multiplier, and formula on this site is documented on the methodology page. If you have a manufacturer spec sheet or a code reference that contradicts a number we use, send it over — we would rather be accurate than be right.
A note on what we can't do
We build sizing tools, not installations. We can't act as your electrician, approve a specific generator for your home, or sign off on a permit. For anything that gets wired into your panel, please work with a licensed electrician who can inspect your actual setup. Our numbers are a planning starting point, not an electrical design.
